I hope you were able to find a sense of meditation and mindfulness last week in a state of Blue Mind.
This week we’re going from blue to green.
Here’s the prompt for this week:
There are a lot of studies that point to green spaces being beneficial to our mental health. Though anecdotal evidence is also a good basis for understanding this connection.
Think about how you feel when you are in a greenspace and the type of energy that flows through you.
If you aren’t near a greenspace, sometimes looking at images or just using your imagination will help you achieve those few moments of bliss. Enjoy!
The Happiness Project is
my way of sprinkling happiness like fairy dust so that we can shift our perspective towards a happier more joyful life. Each Tuesday I will give you a prompt and an affirmation for the week. Use these to guide yourself towards a joyful life filled with gratitude and happiness. Think of it as your own gratitude journal.
Once in a while we’ll do a check-in to see how your happiness is improving, so keep slowly moving towards happiness and eventually to joy.

Think I’ll have to reflex on that beautiful Italian greenery, here where I live in NY, there’s not too many rolling green spaces 🤣🤣. Thanks for the view 😊.

Green spaces are soul cleansing. We just finished a 20 hour drive and made a point to stop in areas where we can stretch our legs and walk in a green space. You get back in the car rejuvenated!

They absolutely are Margie. Question is, did you carry the egg with you? 🤣
Hope you’re having a great trip my friend. 💕

Love this week’s prompt. I’m a fan of the Japanese practice of ‘forest bathing’ (shinrin-yoku) because the restorative power of trees, greenspace is a tonic. I was lucky enough yesterday to have that experience with a dear friend…no destination in mind, just time together walking through a beautiful canopy of trees. I think I felt twenty pounds lighter and more joy-filled afterward than I could ever describe in words. xo! 🥰

Oh yes, forest bathing, what a wonderful practice. It is a common practice in many cultures, including among the Japanese. Sometimes trees are overlooked, but they add so much to our lives.
How wonderful that you got to be among the trees yesterday. Isn’t it incredible how much lighter we feel.
Thank you for your beautiful testament Vicki.
Shall I add you as a weekly participant in the happiness prompts? Looks like you started today’s prompt yesterday. 😁💕
